Thank you for all of your time and commitment Dr. Matthew and Julia. I received the opportunity to go to Vietnam on a medical mission last November with CardioStart International. I represented MCR along side 32 other cardiac personnel from all over the world. The non-monetary rewards are truly priceless. The children and adults you help, stay in your heart forever. It puts our clinical care back here in the U.S into perspective and makes for a much more compassionate caregiver. I'm thankful for everyone in this health care system who has given their time to help others, hopefully we will all continue for years to come!

I want to give major KUDOS for these two fellow employees. It is so wonderful to hear your story and how you are helping those less fortunate and giving them something so preciouse, a peace of mind and healthy hearts. Rwanda has been a huge part of my life and I thank you so much for your time and committment to the people you have helped. It is so wonderful to hear the adventures of other employees and how they are impacting the world.

I wish the MCR cleaning crew could come to the GMC building. We only have someone come in at night and they don't do a good job. During the day the building is filthy-bathrooms have urine and fecal matter on the toilet seat, elevators have piles of leaves, floor have not been mopped in awhile. If I was a patient, I don't think I would want to return here. Employees are busy with patients and their regular job duties to perform janitorial duties also.

Having come from a hospital in a larger city where housekeeping was outsourced (and suffered greatly as a result--in other words, it was filthy) and the housekeeping staff just didn't care, it was amazing to me how clean it is at MCR, and how the housekeeping staff interact with everybody. It is not only outstandingly clean, but the housekeeping staff are awesome and clearly work as part of the patient-care team. Way to go!

If we're having a history lesson, can we get a word about how this has affected your nosocomial infection rates? It is excellent that they have increased patient satisfaction with quick turn-around-times, but more importantly they have made your patients healthier and at less risk of getting sick in your care. They are to be doubly commended for protecting patient's health!

I would like to commend the nurses and the unit assistants for helping strip the rooms so I am able to turn the rooms around in the amount of time I am aloud to do. I believe that the cicu and the cvi staff are the hardest working people who strive to go above and beyond the behavioral standards. It takes everybody on the floor working together to make a great team.

Great job! My mother was a nurse and whenever she entered a hospital, the first thing she looked for was the state of the housekeeping - if it was not up to par, she was already pretty sure that the standard of care in general would also be less than desired.
