Got some exciting news yesterday about Poudre Valley Health System being named one of the Most Wired health systems (H&HN story, list of winners, press release) in America.
It’s the eighth year in a row we’ve been on the list, which speaks volumes about our information services department and the work they’re continually doing to make health care safer and more convenient for patients and our community.
One example from the Most Wired survey that we pointed out in our press release is the use of bar codes at the bedside to verify that the right patient gets the right dose of the right drug. More Most Wired health systems use that technology than others, and it can save lives.
